Meet the Founders

Lana Becerra

Movement found Lana during a season that asked her to grow.

Yoga entered her life at a time when she needed grounding and through breath, strength, and presence, she began to rebuild her relationship with herself. What started as healing became devotion. What began as personal practice became purpose.

As the daughter of Ecuadorian and Venezuelan parents, Lana was raised in a home where strength and tenderness coexisted, where showing up for family and community was not optional, but natural. That upbringing shaped the way she leads: steady, intentional, and deeply attuned to the people in the room.

After completing her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, Lana continued deepening her path, earning her 300-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training and becoming a 500-hour certified instructor. She also expanded into 50-hour Yoga Sculpt and 100-hour Mat Pilates certifications, blending strength and fluidity in her movement offerings.

Beyond movement, Lana is a Reiki facilitator and sound healing guide, weaving energetic awareness and vibrational work into her gatherings. Whether through dynamic Pilates flows, grounding yoga sequences, Reiki-infused sessions, or immersive sound experiences, she creates environments where women can feel both empowered and supported.

Her approach reflects the heart of 414 Portal: resilience rooted in care. Strength balanced with softness. Intention grounded in steadiness.

For Lana, every gathering is a threshold a space where movement, energy, and presence come together to help you reconnect with your inner balance.

Jess Cervantes

Jess’s journey with yoga began in 2020, in a season that asked her to slow down and listen.

What began as a way to steady her breath and quiet her mind became something far more intimate. A return to her body. A return to her voice. A return to the quiet inner knowing that had always been there, waiting.

From online classes to beach gatherings, from studio floors to immersive trainings, she followed the thread of practice wherever it called her. What unfolded was not just physical strength, but presence. Yoga became less about perfecting shapes and more about awareness. Learning how to stay through discomfort. Learning how to soften without losing power.

Jess is a 500-hour certified Vinyasa instructor with a foundation in Ashtanga yoga, a sound bath facilitator, and a ceremonial space holder. Her work weaves intentional movement, meditation, sound healing, and cacao ceremonies into experiences that feel both grounding and expansive.

She also hosts art-based gatherings that reconnect women to their creative voice. Spaces to explore and express. Spaces to remember that creation is not performance. It is presence.

Raised in a Mexican and Guatemalan household shaped by resilience and devotion, Jess understands the delicate balance between striving and surrender. Between discipline and tenderness. Her teaching blends structure with softness, honoring both lineage and lived experience. With a focus on breath, nervous system awareness, and intentional sequencing, she guides women toward steadiness. Toward equanimity in motion.

At the heart of 414 Portal is Jess’s belief that practice itself is a threshold. Not a place to become someone new, but a place to remember who you are. Grounded. Clear. Whole.

The Story Behind the Name

414 Portal started the way a lot of meaningful things start — not with a business plan, but with a moment that felt true.

We were sitting in meditation. Music low. Breath steady. The kind of quiet that helps you actually hear yourself again. Afterward, we pulled two cards:

41 — Soul Song
14 — Alignment

It felt like confirmation — steady and clear.

One reflected voice and vibration — living from your own rhythm.
The other reflected alignment — grounding that rhythm into something real.

The numbers stayed with us as a simple reminder: when what you feel inside matches what you’re building outside, you can trust the next step.

We chose the word Portal because that’s what our practices have always been for us — a threshold. A way back to the body. Back to presence. Back to steadiness.

414 Portal exists for that crossing — where intention becomes action, where community becomes support, and where women remember they don’t have to push to be powerful.

This is an invitation.
Step through.
